The Center for Integrated Data-Material Sciences aims to deepen the paradigm of data-driven materials science while aiming to establish a next-generation materials development process. Towards this end, it combines iCeMS’s expertise in material informatics with the MacDiarmid Institute’s expertise in physical property characterisation, and explores how the synergism between these fields can accelerate the development of new materials for energy and medicine. By utilising the strong connections between the MacDiarmid Institute and New Zealand industry, we aim to realise a concrete returns from basic science to society.
